Title V Loan Program The MHFA Homeowner Septic Repair loan program is ready to assist with it's very low cost financing plan to replace failed septic systems or for town sewer hookups. We have provided many of our neighbors with an affordable means to meet the Commonwealth's Title V requirements. On behalf of MHFA, we qualify the borrower, provide all loan documents, conduct the closing and assist with contractor disbursements. Loan rates can be as low as 0% - with no monthly payments; to a maximum rate of only 5% - with terms of up to 20 years. Same day approvals - with funds usually dispersed within 20 days or less. Pre-qualifications can even be given over the phone!
